Bags 4 Kids Drive

Our children need your help now more than ever. 

On any given day, there are 850 children living in out-of-home care like foster care in Denver County.  Due to various circumstances, many of these youth transition from home to home using plastic bags or plastic containers to carry their belongings. This can be quite humiliating for many youth.

You can help a foster child carry their personal belongings with dignity by purchasing and donating a new duffel bag or suitcase at any of the seven Colorado Baggage locations between May 21 – July 22, 2012. All items donated to GIVE Denver are tax-deductible.

It’s up to all of us who care about foster youth to make their lives a little brighter.  Encourage your family and friends to get involved by donating and circulating the Bags 4 Kids flyer. GIVE Denver thanks Colorado Baggage for its help in making children’s futures brighter.

Donation Events
Throughout the year, GIVE Denver helps underserved youth and adults by providing donated items that help them maintain a sense of security. During our annual donation events, we seek donations of items that are unique to the season or time of year. and basic necessity items. We are currently seeking donors for GIVE Denver’s holiday drive.To make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to “Denver Human Services” and mail to 1200 Federal Blvd., Denver, CO 80204. Attn: GIVE Denver. Please mark ‘GIVE Denver’ in the check memo lin.  All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
